Women’s Hockey’s Tournament Run Comes to a Close With Loss in Game Three of ECAC Quarterfinals
The Tigers (23-9-0, 16-6-0 ECAC) skated away with a 5-1 win over the Crimson (16-15-3, 8-11-3 ECAC) in the decisive third game of what was a highly competitive series between the Ivy League foes. Emi Biotti scored the Crimson goal while Ainsley Tuffy made 39 saves to backstop the effort in the rubber match.
Strong Second Period Powers Harvard Past Princeton in Game Two of ECAC Quarterfinals
The Crimson (16-14-3, 8-11-3 ECAC) secured a 3-1 result over the Tigers (22-9-0, 16-6-0 ECAC) to force a decisive third game in the series. Morgan McGathey, Carla McSweeney and Angelica Megdanis each scored in the second period to help lift Harvard to the victory.

Women’s Hockey, Princeton Set to Clash in ECAC Championship Quarterfinals
The eighth-seeded Crimson (15-13-3, 8-11-3 ECAC) will battle the second-seeded Tigers (21-8-0, 16-6-0 ECAC) in a best-of-three series at Hobey Baker Rink this weekend (Feb. 27-Mar. 1) to determine who will advance to the semifinal round in Lake Placid. Another thrilling victory over St. Lawrence last weekend in the Opening Round gave Harvard its first playoff win since 2022 and its first advancement in the ECAC Championship tournament since 2020.
Kaley MacDonald Named ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week
MacDonald earned the conference's Defender of the Week Award this morning after scoring the game-winning goal for the Crimson in its playoff game against St. Lawrence on Saturday (Feb. 21). The goal helped Harvard stun the Saints and advance into the quarterfinal round of the 2026 ECAC Championship.
Morgan McGathey Named to ECAC All-Rookie Team
McGathey made an immediate impact in her debut season with the Crimson, emerging as one of the conference's most dynamic forwards. Throughout the 2025-26 campaign, she contributed consistently on both ends of the ice while playing key minutes in the Crimson top six.
