Navy Places Second at EIWA Championship, Sends Four to NCAA Championship
The Navy wrestling team placed second at the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Championship (EIWA) on Saturday at Bender Arena in Washington, D.C., totaling 135.5 points and securing four automatic qualifiers to the NCAA Championship. Lehigh captured the team title with 163.5 points and five individual champions.

Wrestling Set for EIWA Championship in Washington, D.C.
The Navy wrestling team travels to Washington, D.C., this weekend in its pursuit to win the 2026 Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championship. In addition to the team title and the 10 EIWA individual crowns, 26 automatic berths to the NCAA Championship (March 19-21 at Rocket Arena / Cleveland, Ohio) are on the line.

Navy's Lauren Walsh was officially invited to compete in the NCAA Swimming Championship on Wednesday with the release of the field for the meet that will be held March 18-21 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
Four Mids Garner NAAA Athlete-of-the-Week Honors
Zanai Barnett-Gay (women's basketball), Ava Yovino (women's lacrosse), Wenqing Tang (squash) and Nathan Kent (men's track & field) shared this week's Naval Academy Athletic Association Athlete-of-the-Week accolade. Women's basketball clinched the program's first Patriot League Regular-Season Championship since 2014, the nationally-ranked women's lacrosse team knocked off #7 Florida, the squash team earned its highest finish in the College Squash Association's Hoehn Cup since 2008 and the men's track & field team won its sixth-consecutive Patriot League Indoor Championship.
Navy Finishes Third in Hoehn Cup at 2026 CSA Divisional Team Championship
The 15th-ranked Navy squash team (24-6) concluded the 2025-26 campaign by posting a 2-1 record and a third-place finish in the Hoehn Cup at the College Squash Association Divisional Team Championship held over the weekend at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. The Hoehn Cup represents teams ranked 13-20.
Navy Wins Both Team Titles at ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship
The Navy swimming and diving teams capped first-place team finishes at the ECAC Championship with a trio of individual event victories Sunday at Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa. Winning events on the last day of the meet were Corinne Warriner in the women's 200 breaststroke, Noah Robinson in the men's 200 breaststroke and Evan O'Dea in the men's 200 fly.
