WBIT CHAMPIONS! Columbia Takes Down BYU, 81-64, for the Title
WICHITA, Kan. – Columbia led by as many as 27, never trailed and finished off a dominant run in the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament by defeating BYU, 81-64, in the title game on Wednesday night at Charles Koch Arena.
(4) Columbia Set to Face (1) BYU Wednesday in the WBIT Championship Game
WICHITA, Kan. – No. 4 seed Columbia (24-8, 11-3 Ivy) takes on top-seeded Brigham Young University (26-11, 9-9 Big 12) in the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament Championship Game. The game will take place at Charles Koch Arena on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since the 1995 Dead River Co. Tip-off Classic in Orono, Maine.
(4) Columbia Advances to WBIT Championship with Wire-to-Wire Win over (3) Wisconsin
WICHITA, Kan. – Columbia led by as many as 18 in a wire-to-wire WBIT Semifinal victory over Wisconsin, 67-50, Monday afternoon at Charles Koch Arena. The Lions move on to meet top-seeded BYU (26-11) in the Championship Game on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET.
