Colby Falls to No. 18 Middlebury 16-9 in Gritty Offensive Battle
Waterville, Maine - Despite a strong second-half surge and an aggressive offensive performance, the Colby Men's Lacrosse team fell to the Panthers of Middlebury College 16-9 on Saturday afternoon. The Mules displayed impressive resilience, out shooting the Panthers 36-32 and leading in ground balls 28-22, but a difficult first half proved too much to overcome.
Track and Field at Monks Invitational
Standish, Maine - The Colby College Track and Field team traveled to Standish, Maine, to compete in the Monks Track & Field Invite on Saturday.
Women's Crew Takes Two of Three From Coast Guard
New London, Conn - Women's crew traveled to the Coast Guard Academy late last night for their Dual against the Bears on the Thames River this morning. Sunny skies and warm temps contrasted with the challenging conditions out on the water. From a 10-15mph headwind, an outgoing tide, and an upstream course, the river provided many opportunities for the athletes not to perform well. Yet, the crews handled the conditions well and in two of the three races, Colby came out on top. Heading into the weekend, Colby was ranked 7th and Coast Guard, 12th. The team heads back to Maine ready to return to the Hume Center and get out on the lake.
Men's Crew Sweeps Coast Guard
New London, Conn - Men's crew traveled to the Coast Guard Academy late last night for their Dual against the Bears on the Thames River this morning. Sunny skies and warm temps contrasted with the challenging conditions out on the water. From a 10-15mph headwind, an outgoing tide, and an upstream course, the river provided many opportunities for the athletes not to perform well. Yet, all of the men's crews handled the conditions exceptionally well, establishing commanding leads early in their races. Heading into the weekend, Colby was ranked 5th and Coast Guard, 11th. Now, the team heads back to Maine ready to return to the Hume Center and get out on the lake.
Mules Defeated by No. 2 Bowdoin Despite Fourth-Quarter Push
Brunswick, Maine - The Colby College Men's Lacrosse team demonstrated remarkable resilience on Wednesday evening, closing their match up against the rival Polar Bears of Bowdoin College with a dominant fourth-quarter performance. Despite ultimately falling 19-12, the Mules outscored the Polar Bears 7-2 in the final period, showcasing a relentless offensive push that kept the pressure on throughout the 60 minutes.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Basketball teams have been announced recently by College Sport Communicators (CSC). This award recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
