Women’s Golf Takes Ninth Place at the Jack Leaman Invitational
The Wesleyan women's golf team placed ninth out of 12 teams in the 36-hole Jack Leaman Invitational hosted by Amherst over the weekend. The Cardinals shot 323-315-638 (+62) over the two-day tournament. NYU won the event with a +21 while Williams finished runner-up.
Baseball Crowned Little Three Champions, Splitting Williams Doubleheader
Returning to form, the Wesleyan University baseball team dusted off the program's Little Three Champions title on Saturday afternoon, splitting the series doubleheader with Williams following Friday night's victory at home. The Cardinals won game one 10-4 but fell in game two 13-5 and sit atop the NESCAC West division with a conference leading 6-3 record.
Simon Leads Cardinals with Top 5 Steeplechase finish at Silfen Invitational
The Wesleyan women's track and field team played double duty over the weekend, competing at the Conn. College Silfen Invitational and the UMass Commonwealth Invite with several Top 5 finishes as the team was led by Alexandra Simon '27 in the steeplechase.

The Wesleyan men's track and field team saw double the action over the weekend, competing in the Conn. College Silfen Invitational and the UMass Commonwealth Invite with the team led by senior Liam Calhoun's win in the 5000m.
No. 8 Wesleyan Upended at No. 1 Tufts, 19-14
The No. 8 Wesleyan men's lacrosse team turned in a solid effort but fell short in a 19-14 defeat at No. 1 Tufts on Saturday afternoon from Bello Field. Wesleyan (9-3, 5-3 NESCAC) sees their four-game unbeaten run halted while the Jumbos (10-0, 8-0 NESCAC) continue a prolonged winning run that dates back to 2024.

The Wesleyan softball team suffered two losses on Saturday to Trinity in a doubleheader at home as the Cardinals fell 9-3 and 6-4 to the Bantams. Wesleyan (14-10, 4-6 NESCAC) is swept for the first time in conference play this season while Trinity (11-9, 4-4 NESCAC) bounces back from a four-game losing streak in league play.

Cardinals Go Running in the Fifth, Defeating Williams 13-5
Marking the start of the second Little Three series of the season, the Wesleyan University baseball team played host to Williams College on Friday evening, toppling Williams 13-5 after a seven-run fifth inning sent the Cardinals cruising to a NESCAC victory from Dresser Diamond.
No. 8 Wesleyan Dominates Second Half in 11-6 Win over Trinity
After playing to an even 5-5 score at halftime, the No. 8 Wesleyan men's lacrosse team took complete control in the second half, outscoring Trinity 6-1 over the final 30 minutes to earn a 11-6 win on Wednesday night from Tansill Muldoon Stadium. Wesleyan (9-2, 5-2 NESCAC) improves to 5-0 playing away from home in 2026 while the Bantams (5-7, 1-6 NESCAC) have lost four straight.
Pitching Duo Dominates, Leading Softball to Sweep of Albertus Magnus
A pair of gems in the circle from Ella DeCrescenzo '27 and Whitney Gigante '28 helped lead the Wesleyan softball team to a 6-1 and 4-2 sweep of Albertus Magnus on Tuesday. Wesleyan (14-9) moves to 7-1 over their last eight games, recording sweeps in three of their past four doubleheaders, while the Falcons (14-11) lose consecutive games for the first time since March 13.
Ben Burns Named NESCAC Player of the Week
Wesleyan men's lacrosse senior attackman Ben Burns '26 earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is the first Player of the Week award in Burns' career while he is the first Cardinal to win the individual honor this season.
Cardinals Tie for 10th Place at the Trinity/Hartford Spring Invitational
The Wesleyan men's golf team opened the spring portion of its 2025-26 season with a 10th place finish out of 14 teams at the Trinity/Hartford Spring Invitational held at the Keney Park Golf Course. Wesleyan shot 295-299-594 (+34) as a team over the 36-hole tournament. Hofstra came out on top, finishing +7 as a team over the two days.
