BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The sixth-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team scored seven first-quarter goals and never looked back in a 19-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory over Bridgewater College on Saturday afternoon at Jopson Field. The Generals (11-2, 6-0 ODAC) controlled the game from the opening draw, using a balanced offensive attack and strong possession play to remain unbeaten in conference action, while the Eagles (6-6, 1-2 ODAC) were led by a standout individual effort from Paige Mayers.

ODAC Honors Kaufman with Golfer of the Week Laurels

FOREST, Va. - Sophomore Tim Kaufman of the Washington and Lee University men's golf team was named the Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time after securing his first career win at the Capital City Classic on Tuesday. Kaufman finished in a T-1st place with a score of four-under par (212) across 54 holes of action. He shot a 70 (-2) in round one before shooting a 71 (-1) in the second and third round to earn a top finish. He registered eight birdies, an eagle and 39 pars, the most among 95 golfers. He played the Par 4s to even par while shooting six-under par on the Par 5s.
