Kanumuri and Wong Invited to NCAA Women's Individual Championships

Freshmen Ika Kanumuri and Jane Wong have been selected to play for the NCAA Division III Women's Individual Championships to be held to be held at the Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee, from May 22-26. The championships are being hosted by University of the South and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Both Kanumuri and Wong were selected to the singles bracket.

Kanumuri Named UAA Rookie of the Year; Five Others Honored on All-UAA Team

Carnegie Mellon University first-year athlete Ika Kanumuri has been named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Tennis Rookie of the Year with five others earning All-Association honors. Kanumuri is the fourth UAA Rookie of the Year for the Tartans and follows sophomore Shelly Zinchenko with back-to-back recognition.

#10 Tartans Selected to NCAA Championship Field for 20th Time to Program History

The Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team has been selected to compete for the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship and will travel to Baltimore, Maryland, for the first, second and third rounds of competition from Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10. The appearance in the postseason event will be the 20th for the program, all coming under head coach Andrew Girard.
