Dominant Second Half Sends No. 12 Men’s Lacrosse into Final Four after 15-7 Win over No. 5 Christopher Newport

After playing to a deadlocked score at the half, the No. 12 ranked Wesleyan men's lacrosse team outscored No. 5 Christopher Newport 10-2 in the second half to land a convincing 15-7 win over the Captains on Saturday night in the NCAA Quarterfinal round from Bello Field on the campus of Tufts University. With the win, the Cardinals (14-4) advance to the NCAA Semifinals for the fifth time in team history and first since 2018.

A career game from Bridget Horst '26 and a sensational defensive display headlined by a 12-save outing from Izzy Weintraub '26 proved more than enough for the No. 2 Wesleyan women's lacrosse team in a 14-7 win over No. 21 UChicago on Saturday in the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals (17-3) advance to the NCAA Quarterfinal round where they will play host to No. 10 Trinity on Sunday at 2 PM with a spot in the Final Four on the line.

Seven members of the Wesleyan women's lacrosse team were honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) today when the organization announced its 2026 Division III All-Region Teams. Highlighting the list are Berkshire Region First Team selections Addie Cummings '26, Lindsey Diomede '26, Bridget Horst '26, Molly Simon '26, Lilly Stoller '26, Izzy Weintraub '26 as well as Second Team pick Dylan Green '26.

Softball Sees Lennon and Cassel-Siskind Named NFCA All-Region

Seniors Molly Lennon '26 and Rebecca Cassel-Sisind '26 of the Wesleyan softball team were named All-Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Friday afternoon. Lennon earns First Team All-Region recognition while Cassel-Siskind is a Third Team choice. This is Lennon's third career All-Region honor while Cassel-Siskind is a two-time All-Region honoree.
