Dartmouth men's ice hockey celebrates a significant achievement as sophomore Hayden Stavroff has been named a First Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association. Stavroff led the nation in goals during the 2025-26 season, scoring 29 times in 35 games and averaging 0.83 goals per game. His performance included 13 multi-point games and two hat-tricks, solidifying his status as a top player nationally. This recognition follows a series of accolades for Stavroff, including Ivy League Player of the Year and a spot as a Top 10 Finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, making him one of only two Big Green players to achieve this honor.
In men's lacrosse, Dartmouth faced a challenging matchup against Brown on April 11, ultimately falling 17-16 in overtime. The Big Green initially trailed 2-0 but rallied with four consecutive goals to take a 4-2 lead by the end of the first quarter. Despite a strong offensive showing that saw them lead 8-6 at halftime, Dartmouth could not maintain the advantage as the game progressed. Alex Jessey stood out with four goals, but Brown's late-game push forced overtime, where they secured the victory.
On the football front, Dartmouth wrapped up its first week of spring camp, conducting three practice sessions, including one indoors due to inclement weather. Head coach Sammy McCorkle expressed enthusiasm about the new coaching staff and the installation of fresh schemes. Eleven players were also recognized by the National Football Foundation as part of the Hampshire Honor Society, maintaining Dartmouth's streak of honorees for the 20th consecutive year. The Big Green will continue preparations for their annual spring game scheduled for May 9.
