Mules Advance to NESCAC Championship Finals After a Triple-OT Win
Middlebury, Vermont - The No. 4-seeded Colby College Women's Ice Hockey team faced the No. 1-seeded Middlebury College in the NESCAC Championship Semifinals. After three periods and three rounds of overtime, the Mules broke through with a 2-1 win to advance to the finals.
Colby Headed to Top Seeded Middlebury for NESCAC Semifinals
Waterville, Maine - Following a dominant 6-2 home ice victory over the fifth seeded Hamilton Continentals last Saturday in the quarterfinal round, the fourth seeded Colby Women's Ice Hockey team will head to Middlebury, Vermont Saturday, March 7th, to battle the top seeded Panthers in a NESCAC semifinals matchup. Colby, now entering their sixth consecutive season making it to the semifinal round (not including the incomplete 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic), will look to avenge last years 3-0 semifinal loss to Middlebury.
Swimming & Diving Claims a Dozen All-Conference Awards Following NESCAC Championships
Waterville, Maine - With both the Men's and Women's NESCAC Swimming & Diving Championships now concluded, the Mules came away with 12 total All-Conference awards, the highest total since the Mules had 13 in 2005. All-NESCAC awards are given out to the top three relays and individual finishers for each event.
Former Colby Squash Coach John Illig Selected for CSA Hall of Fame
Philadelphia, Penn. - Former Colby College Men's and Women's Squash Coach John Illig will be honored in the 2026 College Sqaush Association Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony taking place this Saturday, March 7th in Philadelphia, alongside the CSA National Team Championships.
Olenik Earns Third Straight All-Conference Award
Waterville, Maine - Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, Kate Olenik has once again been placed on the All-NESCAC team earning First-Team status. The junior guard is now a three-time All-Conference selection on top of her 2024 NESCAC Rookie of the Year award.
Civello Lands a Spot on the All-NESCAC Team
Waterville, Maine - Dan Civello of the Colby Men's Basketball team has earned All-Conference Second Team status for his performance during the 2025-26 season. This is the sophomore forwards first All-NESCAC award and he is one of just four underclassman to earn the achievement this year.
Tattersall & Schumacher Recognized as All-Conference Selections
Waterville, Maine - Seniors Courtney Schumacher and Jo Tattersall of the Colby Women's Ice Hockey team have both been named to the All-NESCAC team for the 2025-26 season. Schumacher has been named a First Team selection with Tattersall earning a spot on the Second Team.
Browne Named an All-NESCAC First Team Selection
Waterville, Maine - Colby Browne of the Colby Men's Ice Hockey team has concluded his sophomore season earning a spot on the 2026 All-Conference First Team. He is one of eight underclassman to be placed on an All-NESCAC team this year.
