No. 23 Princeton Overcomes Early Yale Lead, Tops Bulldogs

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale women's basketball team jumped out to an early 18-4 lead on Saturday at Jadwin Gym, putting the first-place Princeton Tigers on their heels. But Princeton cut that lead down to seven by the end of the first quarter, and eventually took the lead with 3:46 left in the second quarter. The Tigers then pulled away in the second half for a 78-55 win. With the win and Columbia's loss to Harvard, Princeton secured the Ivy League regular-season championship outright. The Lions and Tigers had been tied for first entering the day.
