The MIT baseball team split a NEWMAC doubleheader with Babson College on Saturday at Govoni Field. John Dwyer's three-run home run sparked a four-run ninth inning rally that helped the Engineers take game one, 12-11, before Babson countered with a 14-1 win in seven innings in game two.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT generated six unanswered goals in the first quarter before going on to defeat the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 19-7, in NEWMAC men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon. Garrett Campagna generated three goals and four assists for the Engineers, becoming the fifth player in program history to eclipse 200 career points. Patrick Smith led the Bears with a hat trick.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A pair of five-goal runs helped the MIT women's lacrosse team defeat Babson College, 19-8, on Saturday afternoon at Jack Barry Field. Ashley Thomas powered the Engineers with four goals and three assists as Anne Versprille became the first head coach in program history to record 100 wins. Lilly Bedard led the Beavers with three goals and an assist.
