No. 6 Women's Lacrosse Secures the Top ODAC Seed with 22-4 Win Over Lynchburg
LEXINGTON, Va. – The sixth-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team closed out its Old Dominion Athletic Conference schedule with a dominant 22-4 victory over the University of Lynchburg on Saturday afternoon at Alston Parker Watt Field. The Generals (14-2, 8-0 ODAC) completed an unbeaten conference slate to secure the #1 seed in the ODAC Tournament. The perfect league season marks the program's 12th consecutive undefeated ODAC campaign and 12th straight No. 1 seed, with Washington and Lee unbeaten in conference play since April 20, 2013. The Blue and White shut out Lynchburg in the second half, dropping the Hornets to 7-9 overall and 4-4 in conference play.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Washington and Lee University women's track and field hammer throw crew kicked off the first day of the New Captains Classic with a pair of Top-Ten marks.
2026 Men's Golf ODAC Championship Preview
AMHERST, Va. - The fifth-ranked Washington and Lee University men's golf team looks to hoist their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) title since 2019 and their 17th overall at the 2026 ODAC Championship which begins on Sunday, April 18th at the Poplar Grove Golf Club. The Blue and White enter the tournament as the top-ranked team nationally, backed by seven top-ten finishes and a pair of second place finishes at the Jekyll Island Collegiate and the Savannah Invitational. W&L leads a strong field that includes four teams in the top-50 of the Scoreboard by Clippd National Rankings. Lynchburg follows the Generals as the 17th-ranked team in Division III with Bridgewater sitting at No. 23. Hampden-Sydney (45th) and Shenandoah (48th) round out the other league schools in the top-50 while Averett is just outside at No. 53.
ODAC Tabs Rush as Track Athlete of the Week
FOREST, Va. - Keaton Rush of the Washington and Lee University men's track and field team was named the Track Athlete of the Week after his recording breaking performance in the 10,000m on Saturday night at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Rush reset his own program and ODAC record in the event as he crossed the finish line in a time of 29:36.78 to finish in second place. His time currently ranks ninth in Division III while leading the South Region and the conference.
Warr Named Track Athlete of the Week After Standout Performance
FOREST, Va. - Olivia Warr of the Washington and Lee University women's track and field team earned her first Track Athlete of the Week award of the season after breaking the program and conference record in the 10,000m on Saturday at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Warr finished in fifth place in the event, crossing the finish line in a time of 34:53.56. Her time ranks sixth nationally while leading the South Region and ODAC.
