Men's Crew Faces Tough Test Against Defending National Champion
Worcester, Mass - #5 Colby Men's Crew returned to Worcester this weekend to race #1 Trinity, #6 Marietta, #9 Ithaca, and #10 WPI. The crews were met with grey skies, cool temps, and a light tailwind. In a rematch between four of the eight teams who were at IRAs last year, which included the defending national champion, The Mules were expecting some tough racing. In all three races, the Colby crews beat their opponents from Ithaca and WPI, but fell to Marietta and Trinity. After the racing, Head Coach Stew Stokes commented that "We knew going into today's racing that it would be a tough test, racing against four other ranked teams. Anytime you have four top-ten teams racing each other, you know it's going to be tense. Each of our crews had parts of the race that they can be proud of and build on, and we also found a lot of areas that we need to improve on. We look forward to getting back to work next week as we prepare for the President's Cup and two tough NESCAC opponents."

AMHERST, Va. - The fifth-ranked Washington and Lee University men's golf team looks to hoist their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) title since 2019 and their 17th overall at the 2026 ODAC Championship which begins on Sunday, April 18th at the Poplar Grove Golf Club. ODAC Tabs Rush as Track Athlete of the Week
FOREST, Va. - Keaton Rush of the Washington and Lee University men's track and field team was named the Track Athlete of the Week after his recording breaking performance in the 10,000m on Saturday night at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Rush reset his own program and ODAC record in the event as he crossed the finish line in a time of 29:36.78 to finish in second place. His time currently ranks ninth in Division III while leading the South Region and the conference.
