#5 Mammoths Fall to #1 Midd In Top-5 Showdown

AMHERST, MA. – A Bridget Finley hat trick and a great performance from goaltender Lily Samoska were not enough as No. 5 Amherst women's lacrosse team fell to Middlebury on Saturday, April 14. After they closed their non-conference slate with a big win on Tuesday, the Mammoths took to Pratt Field looking to unseat undefeated national No. 1 Panthers in their final home game of the regular season. Middlebury broke the game open after closely contested first quarter to win 13-7.

AMHERST, MA. – Nine different Mammoths found the back of the net as the No. 5 Amherst women's lacrosse team picked up yet another win on Tuesday, April 11. After a big second quarter run sealed a rivalry win over Williams on Saturday, the Mammoths returned home for their final non-conference game of the season. Amherst started the game on the front foot and never let up, as a 7-0 second quarter run fueled them to a 19-5 win.
