No. 10 Women's Lacrosse Edges Randolph-Macon, 8-6, for 16th Consecutive ODAC Crown
LEXINGTON, Va. – The 10th-ranked and top-seeded Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team captured the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship with an 8-6 victory over No. 2 seed Randolph-Macon on Sunday afternoon at Watt Field. In a tightly contested championship matchup, Lara Baki broke a 6-6 tie with a free-position goal midway through the fourth quarter, and Hannah Van Son added an insurance tally with 1:42 remaining to lift Washington and Lee (15-4) past the Yellow Jackets (13-5). The title marks the 26th ODAC Championship in program history and the 16th consecutive crown for the Generals. Washington and Lee made its 30th championship appearance, while Randolph-Macon was competing in its 10th.
