Women’s lacrosse moves to Sweet 16 with big win at William Smith

GENEVA, N.Y. - A late defensive stand gave the Williams College women's lacrosse team an 11-10 victory over William Smith College, extending the Ephs' season by at least another week as the team moves into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The Herons, ranked 5th in the latest IWLCA poll and 7th in the NPI, finish the season with a 17-3 record, while the Ephs move to 11-7 on the season.

MIDDLETOWN, Ct. - A goal with 11 seconds left from Gavin Timoney gave the Williams College men's lacrosse team a 6-5 win over St. John Fisher to advance to the round of 16 in the NCAA tournament. The Ephs advance to take on Wesleyan University on Sunday at 3pm.

Women’s lacrosse wins big in NCAA first round

GENEVA, N.Y. - The Williams College women's lacrosse team earned a big 18-3 win over Grove City College in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon in a game played at William Smith College. The Ephs were in control throughout, going ahead 5-0 after the first quarter and holding an 11-1 lead at the half, and advance to take on the host school on Sunday at 1pm.
