The following day, the Bears edged out Penn 5-4 on Senior Day, with Abby Bettencourt leading the offense with a home run and four RBIs. The Bears finished the regular season with a 20-22 record and an 11-9 mark in Ivy play, securing the fourth seed in the upcoming tournament.
Meanwhile, the Brown men's lacrosse team celebrated individual success as senior Marcus Wertheim was named First Team All-Ivy, marking the fourth consecutive year a Bear has achieved this honor. Wertheim led the team in assists and points, finishing the season with 46 points. The women's lacrosse team faced a tough challenge in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals, falling to top-seeded Yale 11-6 on May 1. Despite a late rally led by Annie Dignazio’s two goals, the Bears were unable to overcome a strong Yale defense.
In rowing, the No. 6 men's crew team faced No. 3 Princeton for the Content Cup on May 2, but ultimately fell short in a competitive race. Head Coach Paul Cooke emphasized the need for improvement as they prepare for the championship season. The women's crew team, ranked No. 9, had a successful outing against Cornell, winning all four races in the Dunn Bowl on April 25, and is now gearing up for the 51st Women's Sprints on May 3. The men's baseball team wrapped up its regular season with a doubleheader against Penn, losing both games but finishing with a 21-18 record, their best since 2009. They will enter the Ivy League Tournament as either the No. 2 or No. 3 seed, with their final seeding dependent on Yale's performance in their upcoming games.
