Junior attackman Nate Kabiri, a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award, has been a standout with 96 career goals and 90 assists, making him one of only two players in program history to achieve such a feat.
Meanwhile, the women's lacrosse team also secured its spot in the NCAA tournament after winning the Ivy League championship, defeating Yale 12-8 on May 1. The Tigers will face Rutgers on May 8 in College Park, Maryland, marking their 31st appearance in the national tournament. Princeton, currently on a six-game winning streak, aims to build on last year's success, where they reached the quarterfinals.
In softball, Princeton's dominance in the Ivy League was recognized with nine players earning All-Ivy League honors, including four on the first team. Junior Cassidy Shaw was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week, while first-year Maddie Ratcheson earned Ivy Rookie of the Week honors. The Tigers, who finished the regular season with an 18-3 Ivy record, will host the Ivy League Tournament starting May 7, seeking to extend their championship streak to six consecutive titles.
On the men's golf front, senior Riccardo Fantinelli has qualified for the NCAA Regionals, set to take place from May 18-20 at Ohio State. This marks his third trip to the NCAA Regionals, where he aims to qualify for the national championship by being the top individual finisher not on a qualifying team. Fantinelli's consistent performance has earned him three Ivy League Player of the Year selections.
In track and field, Joey Gant was named Ivy Athlete of the Week after setting a personal best in the 200m at the Larry Ellis Invitational, running a time of 20.60 seconds, which ranks first in the Ivy League this season. Gant will compete in the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships on May 16-17, where Princeton hopes to secure a third consecutive Triple Crown.
Princeton women's ice hockey player Uma Corniea received an invitation to the USA Hockey National Goaltending & Women's Defense Development Camp, scheduled for May 18-21 in Minnesota. Corniea's selection highlights her potential and contributions to the program.
Lastly, the Princeton football team announced its 2026 schedule, set to begin on September 19 at Bryant. The Tigers will host Albany in their home opener on September 26, as they prepare for the upcoming season.
