Grace Arnolie led the Bears with 23 points, including three three-pointers, bringing her career total to 204, which ranks fifth in program history. The Bears followed up this achievement with a narrow 59-56 loss to Columbia on February 28, where Arnolie again shined, scoring 20 points. Despite the loss, Brown's defense kept Columbia below their average points per game, showcasing their strong performance throughout the season.
In men's basketball, Brown (9-17, 3-10) faced a challenging contest against Cornell, falling 86-80 on February 28. Landon Lewis led the Bears with a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Adrian Uchidiuno matched his career-high with 16 points. The game featured 13 lead changes, highlighting the competitiveness of the match but ultimately ending in disappointment for Brown.
The Brown men's ice hockey team (5-23-2, 4-16-2 ECAC) concluded its regular season with a 3-0 loss to No. 20 Union on February 28, following a 3-1 defeat to RPI on February 27. Tyler Shea made 39 saves in his final home game, but the Bears struggled to find the net against Union's strong defense. Brown will now prepare for the ECAC playoffs, facing Union again on March 7.
Meanwhile, the Brown men's swimming and diving team finished sixth at the Ivy League Championship, held in Princeton from February 27 to March 1. Marton Nagy earned a gold medal in the 400 IM, breaking his own record, while Will Cicco set a new program record in the 1000-yard freestyle. Rowland Lawver was named the Ron Keenhold Career High Point Diver, contributing to the team's overall performance during the championship.
The women's hockey team (18-13-2) faced a bittersweet end to their season, losing 5-4 to Quinnipiac in the ECAC Quarterfinals on March 1 after a dramatic overtime victory in Game Two. The Bears fought hard throughout the series, with standout performances from Margot Norehad and Anya Zupkofska, but ultimately fell short in their quest for advancement in the tournament.
