The Tufts University men's and women's squash teams are set to compete in the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships this weekend in Philadelphia. The women's team, ranked No. 12, will participate in the Howe Cup, aiming for their first victory in the tournament's history after a challenging end to the season, which included back-to-back losses to No. 5 Trinity in the NESCAC title match and a 9-0 defeat against No. 4 Harvard. They will enter the tournament as the 12th seed among 12 teams, hoping to turn their fortunes around.
Meanwhile, the No. 11 men's squash team will compete in the prestigious Potter Cup, beginning with a match against No. 6 Columbia on Thursday at 10:30 AM. The Jumbos are coming off a strong showing in the NESCAC Tournament, where they finished as runners-up for the third consecutive year after losing 8-1 to Trinity College. Tufts has found success in 2026, recording an 8-3 record since the start of the year, including two victories over Williams.
In men's hockey, junior Ethan Ullrick and junior Sylas Oberting received All-Conference honors from the NESCAC. Ullrick was named to the first team after leading the Jumbos and the conference in scoring during the NESCAC Tournament quarterfinals, amassing 30 points from 12 goals and 18 assists. Oberting earned a spot on the second team, marking a significant recognition for both players in their respective roles this season. Their achievements underscore a competitive campaign for the Jumbos, who will look to build on this recognition in future seasons.
