Neville added 16 points and three assists and senior Drew Martin anchored the interior with 14 rebounds, helping the Amherst College men's basketball team control the glass by a decisive margin en route to a 63-46 defeat of WPI in an NCAA Div. III Tournament first round game played in the Ron Rosner Arena on the campus of pod host Mary Wahington University.

#10 Mammoths fall to Cornell in Howe Cup First Round

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The #10 Amherst College women's squash team opened its run at the 2026 CSA National Team Championships (Howe Cup) with a 9–0 loss to #7 Cornell in the round of 16 on Thursday at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center. The Howe Cup includes the top 12 teams in the nation. Amherst shares the draw with several Ivy League schools, as well as Stanford University. Tufts and Trinity were the other two qualifiers from NESCAC in addition to Amherst. The Mammoths dropped to 15–4 on the season in their final event of the year, with several courts going long and competitive before Cornell's depth prevailed.

PHILADELPHIA, PA— The Amherst College men's squash team closed its 2025–26 campaign on Sunday with a hard-fought 6–3 loss to fourth-seeded and 16th-ranked Navy in the Hoehn Cup, finishing 12–8 on the season and taking 4th place in the 2nd Division bracket of the CSA National Team Championships. Amherst had edged the Midshipmen 5–4 in the regular season, but Navy turned the tables in the postseason meeting to claim the rematch.
