Baseball Set for NESCAC Quarterfinal Series at Amherst
Waterville, Maine - The Colby Baseball team is heading to the postseason for the fifth consecutive season. After a regular season that saw the Mules post an impressive 19-13 overall record, Colby has earned the No. 4 seed in the NESCAC East and is set to travel to Memorial Field to take on the West's top-seeded Amherst Mammoths in a best-of-three NESCAC Quarterfinal series starting Friday, May 1.
McLaughlin to Lead Colby Men’s Basketball Program
Waterville, Maine – Colby College is pleased to announce that the men's basketball program will be led by David McLaughlin, a dynamic leader with coaching success at the Division I, II, and III levels and a proven record of attracting and developing players with elite academic standards. A Colby graduate of the Class of 1997, McLaughlin now holds the title honoring Richard L. Whitmore Jr., the influential coach who helped mold, challenge, and mentor McLaughlin when he was a student-athlete at Colby.
Chilicki Named NESCAC Rookie of the Year
Hadley, Mass. - The NESCAC has officially announced its postseason honors for the 2026 Men's Lacrosse season, and Colby College first-year Eli Chilicki has been named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year. Chilicki, an attacker from North Berwick, Maine, becomes the latest Mule to earn the prestigious conference honor after a debut season that saw him emerge as one of the most clinical offensive threats in the conference.
Meade no-hits Bates in No. 19 softball’s doubleheader slipt
The No. 19 ranked Colby College softball team split a NESCAC doubleheader with Bates College on Wednesday afternoon at Lafayette Street Field, earning a 2-0 victory in game one before falling 4-2 in the nightcap.
