In softball, three Dartmouth players received All-Ivy recognition, highlighting their successful seasons. Olivia Schramm earned Second Team All-Ivy honors, having led the team in several offensive categories, including slugging percentage and RBIs. Faby Serna received an Honorable Mention after a standout season, and Lauren Ben-Ezra was named Academic All-Ivy for her achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
Dartmouth baseball is set to conclude its season with a three-game series at Yale this weekend. The series has been adjusted due to weather, with a single game scheduled for Friday, May 8, and a doubleheader on Sunday, May 10. The Big Green recently secured a series win against Manhattan, highlighted by a 13-2 victory and a close 1-0 win in their final home games. Freshman Sam Andersen was named one of The Richards Group Athletes of the Week for his impressive performance, including a .375 batting average in the series against Manhattan.
The men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Jay Carisella Invite, where senior J'Voughnn Blake achieved a remarkable time of 1:47.70 in the 800m, placing him second all-time in program history. The women's 4x100m relay team set a new program record with a time of 45.44. Several athletes recorded top finishes, including Colton McMaster, who won both the shot put and discus events, and Andie Murray, who won the 800m.
In football, the Big Green completed their third week of spring camp, demonstrating improved performance after a week off. Coach Sammy McCorkle noted the team's focus on effort and execution, with standout performances from rising senior Owen Zalc, who made several long field goals. The team is preparing for its annual spring game on Saturday, May 9, at Buddy Teevens Stadium.
Dartmouth sailing also made headlines this week, with the coaching staff earning Co-Coaching Staff of the Year honors in the Ivy League. The team had a successful season, securing multiple top finishes, and three sailors were recognized with All-Ivy honors, including Lilly Baker and Bella Casaretto on the Second Team, and Sudi Zhao as Academic All-Ivy.
