AMHERST, Mass. – Down early and searching for a spark, the Amherst College men's lacrosse team turned Saturday into a full-on comeback statement, erasing a three-goal halftime deficit and surviving a frantic fourth quarter to beat Colby, 11-10, at Gooding Field.
Early Scoring Run, Dominant Defense Deliver in 11-7 Win Over #12 Mules
WATERVILLE, ME – The No. 5 Amherst women's lacrosse team got back in the win column on Saturday, April 4. Facing their second straight nationally-ranked team, No. 12 Colby, the Mammoths looked to get back in the win column. After playing the game close early, Amherst pulled away, going on a 6-1 scoring run across the end of the first and beginning of the second quarters to break the game open and help earn a 11-7 win.
Three Mammoths Earn NEWHA All-Star Honors, Stott Named Repeat-MVP
AMHERST, MA. – Three members of the Amherst College women's ice hockey team were awarded New England Hockey Writer Association (NEHWA) Women's Division III All-Star honors when they were announced today. A trio of seniors, goaltender Natalie Stott (Franklin, Mass.), defender Gretchen Dann (Hanover, N.H.) and forward Maeve Reynolds (Plymouth, Mass.) each picked up yet NEWHA All-Star Selections once again; Stott was further honored as the NEHWA Division III New England MVP for the 2025-26 campaign, her second consecutive season winning the award.

Senior goaltender Natalie Stott of the NESCAC champion women's ice hockey team and junior middle distance runner Parker Boyle of the New England Division III indoor champion men's track and field team have been named Amherst's Student-Athletes of the Month for March.
Mammoths’ Rally Falls Short in 16-4 Loss at Wesleyan
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Amherst men's lacrosse showed real fight in the first half and briefly had Wesleyan on the ropes, but the Cardinals pulled away after halftime in a 16-4 NESCAC result Wednesday night at Citrin Field.
