No. 6 Women's Lacrosse Cruises Past Bridgewater, 19-3
BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The sixth-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team scored seven first-quarter goals and never looked back in a 19-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory over Bridgewater College on Saturday afternoon at Jopson Field. The Generals (11-2, 6-0 ODAC) controlled the game from the opening draw, using a balanced offensive attack and strong possession play to remain unbeaten in conference action, while the Eagles (6-6, 1-2 ODAC) were led by a standout individual effort from Paige Mayers.
W&L Wrestling Sets Program Record with Third-Place NWCA Academic Finish, 10 Scholar All-Americans
LEXINGTON, Va. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced its 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-America selections, with Washington and Lee University placing 10 student-athletes on the list following the conclusion of the NCAA Division III Championships on March 13–14.
Generals Rank 19th Nationally, Lead ODAC in Winter Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings
CLEVELAND — Washington and Lee University continued its strong 2025-26 campaign by ranking 19th nationally in the Division III winter standings of the Learfield Directors' Cup, released Thursday. The Generals have totaled 409.00 points through the fall and winter seasons and remain the top-performing program in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). W&L leads all conference institutions by a wide margin, with Lynchburg next at No. 37 nationally with 297.50 points, while Randolph-Macon (90th) and Roanoke (99th) also sit among the top 100.
Bhatt collects second straight ODAC Women's Golfer of the Week accolade
FOREST, Va. -- First-year Toral Bhatt picks up her second consecutive ODAC weekly honor after she tied for first at the Stith Invitational at the Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Va., earlier this week. Bhatt logged a 1-over par (73-72-72--217) across the three rounds, breaking the program 54-hole records for total score and score to par.
