BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bates softball team dropped both ends of a NESCAC doubleheader at Bowdoin on Saturday, falling 4–1 in the opener and 12–6 in game two at Pickard Diamond. The Bobcats have now lost six straight contests.

Baseball continues breakthrough season with doubleheader sweep of Bowdoin
The Bates baseball team's remarkable campaign continued Saturday with a doubleheader sweep of Bowdoin, as the Bobcats took game one 2-1 before blowing out the Polar Bears 10-1 in game two at Leahey Field. With the pair of wins, the Bobcats (15-3, 4-2 NESCAC East) completed their first three-game sweep of Bowdoin (9-11, 2-4 NESCAC East) since 2019. It's their third series sweep of the Polar Bears in the past 25 years. Bates returns to action on Wednesday when the Bobcats host Husson at 3 p.m.

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bates softball team was swept in a non-conference doubleheader at Brandeis on Friday, falling 6–2 in the opener before dropping a 8–6 decision in game two after leading late.

Senior John Tully threw six strong innings to earn the win and sophomore Ezra Pate picked up his first collegiate save as the Bates baseball team defeated Bowdoin 5-3 Friday afternoon in NESCAC action.

Baseball's offense explodes in 34-7 win over University of Maine at Farmington
Senior Gibby Sullivan, junior Henry Prince, and senior Andrew Fortunato combined for 20 runs batted in and the Bates baseball team rolled to a 34-7 win over the University of Maine at Farmington Wednesday afternoon. It's the most runs in one game for the Bates baseball team since they scored a program-record 37 runs against Thomas College in 1985.

Trio of Bobcats honored by Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association
A trio of Bobcats have been recognized for their performances this year by the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association. Senior captain Elsa Daulerio is first team All-State for the third straight season, junior Sarah Hughes is second team All-State, and first-year Claire Gaetani is an All-Rookie team selection.
