Zoie Tesi captured three event titles and set a new program record in the triple jump as Navy women's track and field (0-1) dropped a 108-95 decision to Army (1-0) on Saturday afternoon at West Point in the annual Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet. The meet is part of the overall Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA.
Navy Falls to 15th-Ranked Army on the Road
WEST POINT, N.Y. — The 15th-ranked Army men's lacrosse team (9-3 / 4-2 Patriot League) used an 8-1 run to break free of the Mids en route to a 14-9 victory over Navy (7-5 / 3-3 Patriot League) in the annual Star Game played Saturday afternoon at Michie Stadium. The game attracted 15,156 fans on a sunny afternoon in New York, marking the largest crowd n Div. I lacrosse this season and the third-largest crowd in Army-Navy men's lacrosse history.

Army and Navy Meet in the Annual Men's Lacrosse Star Match Saturday in West Point
One of the most storied rivalries in college athletics will take center stage this Saturday when Navy (7-4, 3-2 Patriot League) travels to West Point to battle #15 Army (8-3, 3-2 Patriot League) in the series' 106th meeting. Faceoff is set for 2:30 pm at Michie Stadium. Navy is led by Joe Amplo, who has put together a 50-37 record in his 7 seasons at the helm of the Mids' program, while Army's Joe Alberici has posted a 192-116 record in 21 seasons as the Black Knights' head coach. Saturday's contest is part of the year-long Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA.

This is the third time this season and sixth time during his career that Deegan has received the weekly conference honor.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Navy lacrosse standouts Mac Haley (Sr / A / Shady Side, Md.) and Zach Hayashi (Jr / FO / North Potomac, Md.) were among this week's Patriot League players of the week the conference office has announced. Haley was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, while Hayashi picked up Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week honors following their performances in Navy's 20-13 victory over Holy Cross last Saturday.

The Navy women's golf team finished its regular season by tying for 14th place at the nearby Terps Invitational, wrapping up play at the three-round tournament on Monday in College Park, Md.
