Women's Crew Shows Grit in Thrilling CBB Matchup
Greene, Maine - On Sunday, #9 Colby faced perennial Maine rivals #4 Bates and Bowdoin, and raced for the 28th President's Cup. Sun, clear skies, and light wind made for some great racing conditions. The athletes, friends, families, and alumni brought the energy. In a thrilling CBB match up, with guest team UMaine, the Colby women beat UMaine, beat Bowdoin in 3 of 4 races, and fell to Bates in all four. After the racing, Head Coach Stew Stokes said that "CWC showed tremendous tenacity and poise against tough opponents in Bates and Bowdoin. Our varsity and second varsity both went stroke for stroke with the #4 ranked Bates crews and forced them to earn their win… hats off to them. We're proud of the progress and speed CWC is continuing to build week to week and as we approach our championship races." The President's Cup, scored for Men's and Women's performances, remains in Bates's hands but the team finished regular season racing today on a high.
Men's Crew Sweeps CBBs

The athletes, friends, families, and alumni brought the energy. In a thrilling CBB match up, with guest team UMaine, the Colby men won every race, going 5 for 5 on the day. After the racing, Head Coach Stew Stokes said that "We're really pleased with such a strong performance across all the men's crews today. This race is the biggest of our regular season and they all did a tremendous job. This is a great launching pad for our championship races the next two weekends." The President's Cup, scored for Men's and Women's performances, remains in Bates's hands but the team finished regular season racing today on a high.
Colby Splits Doubleheader at Bowdoin to Close Out Regular Season
Brunswick, Maine - The Colby College Baseball team moved to 19-13 on the season after splitting a Saturday afternoon doubleheader against the Polar Bears of Bowdoin College. The Mules dropped a tight opening contest before holding on for a one-run victory in the nightcap.
No. 15 softball swept by Wesleyan
The No. 15 ranked Colby College softball team dropped both games of a NESCAC doubleheader to Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon at the Wesleyan Softball Field. The Mules fell 6-4 to the Cardinals in the opener and 5-1 in the nightcap.
Women’s Lacrosse Battles to the Finish in NESCAC Quarterfinal Battle at No. 2 Tufts
MEDFORD, Mass. – The No. 7 seeded Colby College Women's Lacrosse team showcased their trademark resilience and a potent fourth-quarter offensive surge on Saturday afternoon, falling to the No. 2-seeded Tufts University Jumbos in the NESCAC Tournament Quarterfinals. Despite the final result, the Mules proved their "never-quit" mentality by outscoring the high-powered Jumbos in the final quarter of play.

Waterville, Maine - The Colby Baseball team hosted the Polar Bears of Bowdoin College on Friday afternoon for their final weekend of regular-season conference play.
Women's Lacrosse Traveling to Medford to Begin Postseason Action
Waterville, Maine - For the 24th consecutive year, the Colby Women's Lacrosse team has locked in a spot for the NESCAC Championship Tournament. The seventh seeded Mules will head to two seeded Tufts Jumbos this Saturday, April 25th for a quarterfinal round matchup.
Track & Field Headed to Williams for NESCAC Championships
Waterville, Maine - The Colby Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams are headed to Williams College this weekend to compete in the 2026 NESCAC Championships. For the first time in conference history, the Championships will be a two-day meet instead of one in years past. The Ephs are hosting the event for the first time since 2015.
Mules Secure 9-4 Win Over Husson to Close Out Non-Conference Games
Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Baseball team used a balanced offensive attack and a dominant start on the mound to secure a 9-4 victory over Husson University on Wednesday afternoon for their final non-conference match up of the 2026 season.
