Riley Pierce generated four assists and four groundballs for the Engineers while Joey Allen led the Beavers with two goals and three assists.

No. 24 Women's Lacrosse Defeats Smith, 20-2; Secures NEWMAC Regular Season Title
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 24 MIT women's lacrosse team wrapped up the NEWMAC regular season by defeating Smith College, 20-2, on Wednesday night. With the win, the Engineers secured the top seed in the upcoming NEWMAC Championship and earned the program's second regular season title. Ashley Thomas led MIT with six goals and four assists, becoming the fourth player in the history of NCAA Division III women's lacrosse to record 200 career goals and 200 assists. Jenna Paczkowski powered the Bears with one goal, two draw controls, and one caused turnover.
No. 24 Softball Walks-Off Wellesley in Game One, Takes Game Two For Sweep
Maggie Feng got the No. 24 MIT softball team a walk-off win in nine innings in game one and the Engineers got three RBI from Arianna Kumar in game two as MIT swept Wellesley in NEWMAC action on Wednesday afternoon at the Wellesley Softball Field.
