Greene, Maine - On Sunday, #9 Colby faced perennial Maine rivals #4 Bates and Bowdoin, and raced for the 28th President's Cup. Sun, clear skies, and light wind made for some great racing conditions. The athletes, friends, families, and alumni brought the energy. In a thrilling CBB match up, with guest team UMaine, the Colby women beat UMaine, beat Bowdoin in 3 of 4 races, and fell to Bates in all four. After the racing, Head Coach Stew Stokes said that "CWC showed tremendous tenacity and poise against tough opponents in Bates and Bowdoin. Our varsity and second varsity both went stroke for stroke with the #4 ranked Bates crews and forced them to earn their win… hats off to them. We're proud of the progress and speed CWC is continuing to build week to week and as we approach our championship races." The President's Cup, scored for Men's and Women's performances, remains in Bates's hands but the team finished regular season racing today on a high.

A two-out RBI single by sophomore Kelly Fricker staked the Mountain Hawks to a 4-3 lead after six innings, but Meghan Sinkus' two-run home run in the seventh put the visiting Hawks ahead for good. Lehigh put the tying and winning runs on base in the seventh but was unable to reclaim the lead.

Ben O’Brien to Take Helm of Lafayette Women’s Basketball Program

Track & Field Journeys to Philadelphia for the Historic Penn Relays
LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison track & field teams will compete in the historic and prestigious Penn Relays this weekend. With the outdoor conference championships being moved back two weeks this season, the Bison will send more athletes to the event than in previous years. The Orange & Blue will compete in a multitude of events scattered over the three days.
